PRESO, Inc. Launches Second Batch of “Bukas Loob Tungo sa Bagong Pag-asa” with Support from Megaworld Foundation

Following the meaningful impact of its first implementation in 2025, the Prisoners Enhancement and Support Organization, Inc. (PRESO, Inc.) is proud to announce the launch of the second batch of its reintegration initiative, “Bukas Loob Tungo sa Bagong Pag-asa,” this March 2026, made possible through the generous support of Megaworld Foundation, Inc.

The program was first launched in 2025 where 10 Persons Restored of Liberty (PRLs) successfully completed a series of transformative sessions designed to help them rebuild their lives after incarceration. Through values formation, financial literacy, skills development, and livelihood opportunities, participants were guided in rediscovering their dignity, strengthening their resilience, and preparing for a hopeful future.

Encouraged by the positive outcomes of the first batch, PRESO, Inc. will once again implement the program’s holistic reintegration approach, which includes:

• Individual needs assessment interviews

  
  

• Values formation and mindset development

  
  

• Basic financial literacy training

  
  

• Skills development for livelihood and employment

  
  

• Job placement or income-generating opportunities

  
  

• Post-program monitoring and evaluation

Through these components, the program seeks to accompany PRLs as they transition back into their communities, helping them overcome stigma, rebuild relationships, and pursue meaningful work and purpose.
