Farewell Ate Nits
PRESO, Inc. mourns the passing of our dear Ate Nita Silva Mangaser, who left us last December 5, 2025. Nita lived a life of quiet dignity - never loud, never seeking attention, but deeply present where it mattered most. For more than two decades, she walked with persons deprived of liberty, first as a lay volunteer in the Diocese of Novaliches and later as one of PRESO Inc.’s own. October 20-26, 2025 marked the celebration of the 38th Prison Awareness Week with the theme “Our Merciful God Proclaims Hope for Us Sinners and Restores the Dignity of Persons Deprived of Liberty!” This annual observance reminds the faithful of our shared mission to bring compassion, hope, and restoration to those in detention, our brothers and sisters whom the Lord Himself identified with.

PRESO, Inc. joins the 31st National Correctional Consciousness Week
In celebration of the 31st National Correctional Consciousness Week (NACOCOW), held from October 20–26, 2025, the Prisoners Enhancement and Support Organization, Inc. (PRESO, Inc.) joined the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and other partners in various activities across NCR jails to remember, serve, and stand in solidarity with Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).
